1920~2020nm Thulium-doped Fiber Amplifier(TDFA) can be used to amplify 2um band laser signals in the power range of -10dBm~+10dBm. The saturated output power can reach up to 40dBm. It is often used to increase the transmission power of laser light sources.
The 1030nm ASE broadband light source is based on ytterbium-doped fiber and semiconductor pump laser. The spectrum covers 1030nm wavelength, with high output power and polarization extinction ratio as low as 0.2dB. It can be used for fiber device testing, FBG grating production, etc.

It is a light source for a fiber amplifier used in optical communication networks. The main types of optical fiber amplifiers are EDFA and FRA.
