The C band 1W 2W High Power ASE Broadband Light Source is an incoherent light source, generated by spontaneous emission from erbium-doped fiber pumped by a semiconductor laser. The light source wavelength covers the C-band (1528nm-1568nm), with a spectral flatness of 20dB.
It is coupled to a single-mode fiber, with continuously adjustable power and optional linear polarization output from a polarization-maintaining fiber. It is suitable for applications such as fiber optic sensing and is available in a variety of packaging options.
