At the Laser World Expo in Munich, TRUMPF, the world's leading industrial laser manufacturer, presented an innovative system solution designed to improve the quality and efficiency of laser welding processes. The solution integrates multiple sensors to monitor key points in the welding process in real time.

Accurate detection of penetration depth and distance: VisionLine OCT Check uses optical coherence tomography (OCT) technology to accurately measure penetration depth in real time and monitor the distance between the laser and the workpiece surface to ensure that the optimal focus position is always maintained.

Intelligent weld quality inspection: The VisionLine Inspect system uses a camera to capture the weld image and uses artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms for intelligent analysis to quickly identify potential defects.

2.5D galvo with asynchronous focus: Based on the PFO 33 programmable focus optical system, the integrated asynchronous focus module can fine-tune the laser focus position before welding.
